Project Name: Growing Up Free: An effective response to child trafficking in Ghana’s Volta, Central and Greater Accra Regions

PDA has been contracted to do a follow up baseline study (2016) and follow-up study (Summative Evaluation 2019) on the prevalence and awareness of Child labour trafficking, worst forms of child labour, Child sex trafficking, child force marriage and other forms of slavery conditions in 14 communities in 3 regions of Ghana.
- Free the Slaves has an existing child rights educational curriculum used in Ghana, (in relation to slavery in the mining industry). This child rights educational curriculum is to be adapted (2016) based on the data and analysis generated in the baseline data study. This will include producing a new set of child rights curriculum booklets drawing on themes generated from the field research.
- A summative evaluation (2019) of Growing Up Free, to show whether and how the project achieved its objectives that builds on the above work, as well as Free the Slaves’ existing baseline and monitoring data practices.
