Project Snapshot:
This project supported CENSUDI, a civil society organization based in Bolgatanga, through a comprehensive change process aimed at ensuring its long-term sustainability. The focus was on developing a succession plan to transition the organization beyond its founders, enabling it to continue delivering on its mission with new leadership.
Project Objectives:
- Facilitate a smooth transition from founder-led management to a sustainable leadership model.
- Develop a long-term strategic plan that positions the organization for future growth.
- Identify, recruit, and orient key new senior management staff to drive the organization’s vision.
PDA’s Task:
PDA staff provided technical and strategic support to CENSUDI by guiding the change process, helping develop a succession plan, and assisting with long-term strategic planning and senior management recruitment.
How We Went About It:
- Strategic Planning: Assisted in formulating a long-term strategic vision and operational plan for the organization.
- Succession Planning: Worked closely with CENSUDI to identify key leadership gaps, recruit potential senior management candidates, and orient them for leadership roles.
- Capacity Strengthening: Provided ongoing support throughout the change process to ensure a smooth transition and build institutional resilience.
