Project Snapshot:
This workshop examined the intersections of migration, climate, and environmental change in Ghana. Bringing together national and international experts, government officials, policy makers, civil society representatives, and academics, the workshop aimed to inform policy dialogue and practical responses to migration challenges in the context of global environmental change.
Project Objectives:
- Examine the evidence base on migration and its implications for environmental change.
- Analyze sector-specific strategies and policy responses relevant to migration.
- Inform policy dialogue with evidence-based insights to enhance strategic responses in Ghana.
PDA’s Task:
PDA managed the planning, coordination, paper preparation, facilitation, and subsequent write-up of the workshop proceedings.
How We Went About It:
- Comprehensive Planning: Coordinated all logistical and content-related aspects of the workshop.
- Expert Engagement: Brought together a diverse group of experts and stakeholders for multi-perspective discussions.
- Documentation: Produced detailed workshop write-ups that captured key findings and policy recommendations.
