Project Snapshot:
PDA supported Ibis Ghana’s Organization Capacity Building programme by embedding a dedicated staff member in a four-person monitoring and evaluation team. This team convened annually to review the programme’s performance, ensuring that continuous, evidence-based improvements were implemented to enhance organizational effectiveness.
Project Objectives:
- Conduct systematic, formative monitoring and evaluation of the Organization Capacity Building programme.
- Provide evidence-based insights and recommendations for programme enhancement.
- Strengthen the overall impact and sustainability of Ibis Ghana’s capacity building initiatives.
PDA’s Task:
PDA provided a skilled staff member to join the four-person M&E team. The role involved participating in annual review meetings, analyzing programme performance data, and supporting the development of actionable recommendations for continuous improvement.
How We Went About It:
- Team Integration: Embedded a PDA staff member within the existing M&E team to ensure seamless collaboration and consistent monitoring practices.
- Structured Annual Reviews: Facilitated comprehensive annual review sessions to assess programme outcomes, identify challenges, and discuss potential improvements.
- Data-Driven Evaluation: Employed systematic M&E tools to gather and analyze performance data, translating insights into concrete recommendations for programme refinement.
