Project Objectives:
- Expand community radio coverage by establishing 10 new stations.
- Empower marginalized communities by providing them a voice through radio.
- Build capacity at the district level in community radio participatory research and design.
- Enhance local governance through improved proposal writing, fundraising, and advocacy strategies.
PDA’s Task:
PDA acted as a key partner by facilitating the establishment of the new radio stations, providing technical support, and training local representatives and district stakeholders in community radio processes.

- Technical Support: Assisted the District Coordinating Committees with proposal writing, fund raising strategies, and effective meeting conduct.
- Regulatory Advocacy: Supported communities in developing frequency applications and led advocacy efforts with the national regulatory authority to secure necessary approvals.
