Project Objectives:
- Identify and document indigenous institutions within target communities.
- Understand the role of these institutions in local community organization.
- Inform strategies for supporting and strengthening indigenous organizational capacity.
PDA’s Task:
PDA collaborated with CIKOD to design and implement the inventory, collecting data on indigenous institutions and compiling the results to support further strategy development.
How We Went About It:
- Conducted field visits and interviews to map indigenous institutions.
- Reviewed community structures and local governance practices.
- Synthesized findings into a comprehensive inventory report to guide support strategies.
