Project Snapshot:
This study aimed to understand the challenges and opportunities faced by adolescent sexual and reproductive health (ASRH) providers in the Brong Ahafo Region who were using a mobile application developed by the Ghana Health Service. Funded through the Ghana Adolescent Reproductive Health (GHARH) Project, the application provides real-time updates on ASRH issues, offering a cost-effective alternative to traditional in-service training programs.
Project Objectives:
- Identify challenges and opportunities for ASRH providers using the mobile platform.
- Evaluate the mobile application as a tool for real-time training and information dissemination.
- Support capacity building for improved delivery of ASRH services in the region.
PDA’s Task:
PDA conducted primary research, gathering and analyzing data from ASRH providers to assess the effectiveness of the mobile application in enhancing service delivery.
How We Went About It:
- Field Research: Collected qualitative and quantitative data from healthcare providers in the Brong Ahafo Region.
- Data Analysis: Evaluated the usability and impact of the mobile application on ASRH service provision.
- Reporting: Delivered comprehensive findings to inform enhancements in training and service delivery strategies.
