Project Snapshot:
PDA contributed as a researcher to a Value of Time Study aimed at understanding how time is valued by communities, particularly in the Northern Region of Ghana, in relation to transport decision-making. This study was part of a broader multi-country analysis.
Project Objectives:
- Ascertain the value placed on time by individuals in transport decision-making.
- Understand how time valuation affects transportation choices and overall livelihoods.
PDA’s Task:
PDA provided research expertise, conducting fieldwork and data analysis to capture how time influences transport decisions in target communities.
How We Went About It:
- Collected data through surveys and interviews within selected communities in the Northern Region of Ghana.
- Analyzed quantitative and qualitative data to determine the economic value of time.
- Compared findings across the study countries to contextualize the results.
