Project Snapshot:
PDA facilitated a focused workshop aimed at developing a comprehensive proposal for implementing a monitoring and evaluation framework for the Ghana Poverty Reduction Strategy. The workshop brought together key stakeholders to outline an M&E approach that would enhance accountability, assess impact, and inform future poverty reduction initiatives.
Project Objectives:
- Develop a robust proposal for an effective M&E framework for the Ghana Poverty Reduction Strategy.
- Engage stakeholders to identify key performance indicators and appropriate evaluation methodologies.
- Strengthen institutional capacity to monitor and assess the impact of poverty reduction interventions.
PDA’s Task:
PDA organized and facilitated the workshop, guiding discussions to gather stakeholder inputs, synthesize best practices in M&E, and draft a proposal framework tailored to Ghana’s poverty reduction needs.
How We Went About It:
- Workshop Organization: Coordinated a multi-stakeholder workshop with representatives from the Ministry, GTZ, and other relevant bodies.
- Participatory Approach: Utilized interactive methods to draw on participants’ experiences and insights for designing an effective M&E framework.
- Framework Development: Facilitated discussions to define key indicators, methodological approaches, and roles for implementing the M&E system.
- Proposal Synthesis: Consolidated workshop outcomes into a draft proposal for further refinement and implementation.
