Project Snapshot:
PDA coordinated a regional workshop and national seminar that brought together civil society participants from Ghana and Nigeria. The event introduced the ODI ‘Civil Society Partnership Programme’ and explored how evidence can be used to influence policy, highlighting best practices and challenges in evidence-based advocacy.
Project Objectives:

- Enhance capacity among civil society organizations to use data and research in advocacy efforts.
PDA’s Task:
PDA coordinated individual interviews and facilitated a multi-stakeholder workshop, ensuring that diverse voices contributed to a comprehensive dialogue on evidence-based policy influence.
How We Went About It:
- Regional Coordination: Organized a two-day workshop involving participants from multiple countries in West Africa.
- Interactive Discussions: Facilitated sessions that combined individual insights with group analysis on using evidence for policy advocacy.
- Synthesis of Insights: Consolidated feedback and discussions to produce recommendations for improving evidence utilization in policy influence.
