Project Snapshot
PUR develops community-run agroforestry projects in Côte d’Ivoire to ensure long-term impact and fight against deforestation.
PDA has been commissioned by PUR to conduct a baseline assessment of current socio-economic conditions as well as the prevalence, perception, and adoption of agroforestry practices among smallholder farmers across 8 regions in Cote d’Ivoire. The study will also assess the contribution of these activities to the establishment and sustainability of agroforestry farms and systems.
ACTIVITIES
- PDA has developed tools for both qualitative and quantitative data collection using digital technology
- Enumerators in Cote d’Ivoire have been recruited and trained
- PDA has completed quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. The report is in progress.
