Launched in 2009 by Qatar Foundation, WISE is a global, collaborative platform for debate and action to build the future of education. What makes WISE unique is its multi-sectoral approach to education that brings together those who believe that education is the best way to empower individuals and build a prosperous and sustainable future for communities around the world.
WISE@Accra will explore the theme “Unlocking the World’s Potential: Leading and Innovating for Quality Education in Africa”. It will bring together more than 500 local and international thought leaders, decision makers and practitioners from a variety of sectors to celebrate innovations in Africa, and address the role of leadership in achieving quality education.
