Project Snapshot:
This workshop addressed the challenges of integrating small-holders into commercial agriculture in Ghana. By assessing the pros and cons of large-scale farming and socially inclusive models, the workshop aimed to propose initial principles that would inform the design of a World Bank-financed commercial agriculture project geared toward avoiding enclave investments.
Project Objectives:

PDA’s Task:
PDA was responsible for planning and coordinating the workshop, preparing briefing papers, facilitating discussions, and drafting the workshop report outlining initial principles for socially inclusive investment.
How We Went About It:
- Comprehensive Planning: Organized the logistics and content for the workshop, ensuring representation from relevant stakeholders.
- Facilitated Dialogue: Led discussions that reviewed local and international experiences with commercial farming, emphasizing both benefits and challenges.
