Project Snapshot:
As part of the impact evaluation for the Root and Tuber Improvement and Marketing Programme (RTIMP), PDA co-facilitated a national sense making workshop. The workshop was designed to interpret and contextualize evidence gathered from two months of field research conducted across 25 districts in 8 regions, thereby engaging both local and national stakeholders in shaping the programme’s future direction.
Project Objectives:
- Facilitate a collaborative national dialogue to interpret field research findings.
- Engage local and national stakeholders in understanding and utilizing evidence for programme improvement.
- Translate research insights into actionable recommendations for RTIMP’s enhancement.
PDA’s Task:
- Co-facilitate the national sense making workshop using the PIALA methodology.
- Assist in bridging the gap between the evidence generated from field research and the strategic decision-making processes of programme stakeholders.
How We Went About It:
- Workshop Facilitation: Co-organized and co-facilitated the national workshop, ensuring robust participation from stakeholders across diverse regions.
- Methodological Approach: Applied the PIALA methodology to structure discussions and guide the sense-making process.
- Inclusive Engagement: Created an environment that encouraged input from local and national participants, ensuring that the insights reflected the multifaceted realities of RTIMP implementation.
