PDA facilitated a focused workshop aimed at developing a comprehensive proposal for implementing a monitoring and evaluation framework for the Ghana Poverty Reduction Strategy. This national study aimed to explore the challenges and opportunities for promoting women’s rights within Ghana’s pluralistic legal system. Using Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) methods, the study engaged communities, legal professionals, and advocacy groups to assess the effectiveness of existing legal frameworks in protecting women’s rights.
This consultancy initiative supported Save the Children in developing the Alliance for Reproductive Health Rights. Through a series of facilitated processes—including concept paper development, stakeholder consultations, and group discussions—the project aimed to build a strategic framework that would enhance advocacy for reproductive health rights in Ghana.
